Scholarships

$1500 Annual Scholarship Offered For Students

Applicants should complete a 1,500-2,000 words essay on skin care topic. A panel of Be Skin Hosts leaders will choose 3 finalists. Finalists will participate in a phone interview. The top finalist will be awarded the $1,500 scholarship, which can be used for any educational expenses. Applications will be accepted from April 10, 2017 to November 25, 2017 (11:59 p.m. MT).

New Scholarship Opportunity: Essay Contest
Our organization, AlcoRehab.org, works towards raising awareness of the alcohol abuse and addiction issues and hoping to encourage as many people as possible to realize the potential consequences of their drinking habits. The scholarship recipients will be selected through an essay contest, and essays are judged based on their originality and content. There are no costs associated with submitting an application for this scholarship, and the application period begun on October 10.

The CNA Plus Annual Scholarship 2016 is designed to help candidates studying to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. We run this scholarship program every year. Award: $2,000 Deadline: 12/31/2016 Eligibility Requirements: In order to participate in the scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria: - Must be enrolled in a state-approved CNA training/certification program with a vocational school, community college, university, technical institution or the Red Cross. - Must be a US resident and over the age of 18. - Must be in good academic standing with their current educational institution. - Must create a 3-minute video on the topic of the importance of senior assistance and post it online (YouTube or Vimeo are preferred), then submit the link using the form on the Scholarship page or email it to scholarships@cna.plus. The video will not be used for any purposes other than selecting the winner and should answer the following question:Senior care of the future: what can we do to provide better care to our senior citizens?

Private Loans:

Students may apply for private loans with banking institutions, credit unions, and the school. The school is only able to accept a limited number of student applications for loans with the school directly. All student loan applications are due to the school no later than August 15, of each year to be considered For approval. Please note: Not all student applications for loans with the school directly will be accepted. Most students will qualify for Federal Direct Loans and have the ability to take loans from the Government. See Federal Financial Aid section of the website.

The Vocational Nursing Institute, Inc. is NOW approved and listed on the GI/VA website. For additional information to call us at 832-237- 2525.

If you served on Active Duty , you might be eligible for education benefits offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. For example, the Post -9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for educational and housing expenses to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service after September 10, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service - connected disability after 30 days.

You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill. If you are currently serving in the military, you may be eligible for funding offered through the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance program. Check your eligibility status and the amount for which you qualify with your Service prior to enrolling.

If you are the spouse or child of a service member who is serving on active duty Title 10 orders in the pay-grades of E1-E5, O1-O2, or W1-W2, you may be eligible for financial assistance from the Department of Defense for education, training, and/or the occupational license and credentials necessary for a portable career.

If you are the spouse or child of a service member, you may be eligible for transfer of the service member’s Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to you.
